Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using My Stylist. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using My Stylist in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

My Stylist is a web application that allows users to upload images (such as screenshots of Pinterest boards, Instagram grids, or saved pins). Our system analyses those images to generate an aesthetic profile — including a style label, color palette, and representative images — and then surfaces shoppable product matches from affiliate partner catalogs. Affiliate-tracked links redirect users to third-party retailers where they can complete purchases.

3. Account Registration

Account creation is handled via Clerk, supporting email/password and Google OAuth sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@my-stylist.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of any images you upload. By uploading, you grant My Stylist a limited, non-exclusive licence to process those images solely for the purpose of generating your style profile. Images are stored in Cloudflare R2 and are used only to produce your aesthetic analysis. We do not sell or license your uploaded images to third parties. You may request deletion of your content and account at any time by emailing hello@my-stylist.app.

5. Affiliate Relationships

My Stylist participates in affiliate marketing programmes. When you click a product link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Product recommendations are generated algorithmically from your aesthetic profile, not from paid placement or sponsorship. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that product matches will meet your expectations. Product availability, pricing, and affiliate link accuracy are controlled by third-party retailers and may change without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Stylist and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of $50 USD or the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. We will attempt to notify registered users of material changes via email. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
