This does not affect the price you pay or the products we recommend. Product recommendations are matched to your aesthetic profile — not chosen for sponsorship, paid placement, or brand relationships.

How Affiliate Links Work

When you click a "Shop at [Brand]" button on Muse, you pass through a Muse redirect on your way to the retailer's website. Where an affiliate relationship exists for that brand, the redirect adds a tracking identifier that lets the affiliate network attribute any resulting purchase to Muse, and we receive a commission if you buy within the cookie window described below. Where no such relationship exists, the redirect simply sends you to the product and we earn nothing.

This commission comes from the retailer's marketing budget — it does not increase the price you pay. You pay exactly the same amount as if you had navigated directly to the retailer's website.

Which Products Earn Commission

Muse participates in affiliate programs through affiliate networks and direct brand programs. Which programs those are changes as our catalog and partnerships evolve, so we do not publish a fixed list that would quietly go out of date.

What matters more, and what stays true: many of the products on Muse are not part of any affiliate arrangement. When you click through to those retailers, Muse earns nothing at all. They are in your results because they match your aesthetic, which is the only reason anything is in your results.

Cookie Windows & Commission Rates

Affiliate cookies allow networks to track purchases back to our referral. Cookie windows and commission rates vary by brand and network, but typical ranges are:

Commissions are paid to Muse only after purchases are confirmed (i.e., not returned or canceled) and after the network's validation period.

How Recommendations Are Made

Product recommendations on Muse are matched to your aesthetic profile, not chosen for paid placement. The process is:

  1. You upload images representing your aesthetic.
  2. We study what those images have in common — silhouettes, palette, texture, mood.
  3. We search our curated catalog for pieces that share those visual signals.
  4. The closest matches become your personalized shop.

We do not boost, demote, or otherwise alter recommendations based on commission rates or brand relationships. Brands cannot pay to appear in your results.
